I am trying to get a consolidation loan because my husband has had severals surgeries on his foot and had been off work several months. IT left us behind on our bills and I would just like to be able to have one payment rather that tryong to catch up every month.

Welcome to the forums-this site is a forum,they do not do loans here. However,if you signed up for thecredit counseling,someone will contact you and explain about debt consolidation. Have you tried to work out arrangements with the original creditors and explained the situation? My son is on disability and fell behaind on a Sears card. I called and they have a specific program they offered that they will charge no interest and late charges,etc.He just has to make a payment each month for a year,plus it will all go to the principle.Keep us posted :D ...Karen
