That's okay, I don't think that any of us want to deal with sonic and that's why I said what I said. I would not send money to them by quick collect, I would definitely send it some way that I could track it.

I think it's despicable that these companies insist that you pay a fortune by doing those stupid quick collects. I think it's just one more way that they think they have control. I absolutely refused quick collect when I was paying off apple...Then they tried to insist on credit card, but I said no way to that, too. Finally they agreed to let me send money order. It's a heck of a lot cheaper, and I can check with my bank to see if it's been cashed.

Actualy you can also do this through money gram which is only around 8-9 dollars. Much cheaper than Western Union. Also.. you can track the monies sent by WU or MG..
Any time I use Quick Collect to pay a debtor, I subtract the fee
Any time I use Quick Collect to pay a debtor, I subtract the fee from what I'm paying them. If they whine about it, I tell them to get over it.
I wouldn't use this method to pay a PDL though..Or any collector who acts shady.
