Or, if you want to pay of your debt entirely and you have the money to do so, then just contact the creditor(s) that you owe.

Call the origional creditors. Then they will either let you pay the debt or direct you to the correct agency.

If you have to deal with the CAs then write them asking for a PFD ( pay for delete ) because a paid collection, while making you fell better doesn't raise your fico score.

If they agree to pfd make sure the agreement comes from the manager.

also make sure that PFD is in writing. get everything in writing.
