Can someone please tell me where i can find the laws and state codes for nc concerning payday loans? I want to prepare a letter but i want to make sure that i have every thing straight.

That takes you to the NC Commissioner of Banks website. Since the NC state legislature didn't renew the state law, the delayed deposit law for NC expired in 8/2001. Companies were allowed to continue collecting on old loans, but new loans were not allowed.
