I answered the phone in my home about 5 minutes ago, and was treated with much disrespect from two of your representatives. The first's name was lauren, and the second was jonathan. Neither would answer my simple question of if I could get a phone number so my husband could call back about the account they own from Herberger's Stores in his (and my) name.
I was repeatedly talked over when asking this question, was transfered mid-sentence while writing down the company name, and was genuinely treated as a lesser human being because we have little money left to pay our bills.
We're conversing with an attorney about bankruptcy, and the minute I made the mistake of mentioning that our attorney would be contacting them, he got even more belligerant saying he wanted our attorney's name and number, refusing (or rather, talking over me) to give me his phone number. Thank goodness for the internet - I have it now even without his cooperation.
Sheesh.
Anybody else had to deal with these self-righteous jerks?

You don't have to deal with Arrow Financial if you can directly get in contact with the original creditor. They might have hired this agency for collections.
Explain the situation to your creditor and arrange a payment plan. They are much easier to work with rather than dealing with the collection agencies.
