Ok, Clay had brought up a topic about this report. I sent for mine and today got a letter that says:

Quote:
Dear Ms. Price:

Thank you for requesting a copy of your Accurint Comprehensive Report. LexiNexis has implemented additional security measures to ensure each report reaches only the appropriate recipient. Please fax or mail to the address listed above copies of two forms of identification, one of which must be issued by a governmental entity (such as a drivers license, social security card, passport, or military ID) and the other a copy of a utility bill or similar bill showing your current address. Please DO NOT send copies of credit card or other financial information.

LexisNexis thanks you in advance for your cooperation. Please contact our Consumer Inquiry Department at 1-888-332-8244 ext. 4498 with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Consumer Inquiry Department
LexisNexis

I have some X-rays of my left foot and leg showing the hardware they installed on me last year, they have my name and address on them...That might be fun to send..

I just think it's funny that the major bureaus, Experian, Equifax, Transunion, NONE of them need me to send a copy of my Social Security card or anything else...I just verify my info...I think I'm going to call them before I send them ANYTHING...

I got mine. They have as much inaccurate information as what they get correct. It mentions several people I have never heard of and even a couple of addresses I never lived at.

There should be a law against the compiling of these dossiers. I believe it is a Constitutinal violation of our rights.

Of course, they hide behind the "private company" label, but their biggest customer is no doubt the government.

Is there a difference between the govenment building these databases and contracting a private company to do it for them? NO!

Hitler would have loved Lexis Nexis, and you can bet Mr. Bush has also seen his share of those reports.
