I am working through Alliance credit counseling to consolidate PDLs. I have new bank accounts and a new driver's liscense, but I am still scared to write a check.
Do PDLs report you? All of my pdls were not storefront, so no checks were written.
What has been the forum's experience with telecheck, scan, and all the other lovely check clearing companies?

If you are not comfortable writing a check, you can send your money through money gram. This way, your bank information will not be known to the payday loan lenders that can cause problems.
Payday loan lenders will report the accounts to the Teletrack. I know because my previous accounts are filed with the Teletrack. Any future lender will like to verify my file from the Teletrack and know how I made my payments in the past.
Insist your consultant to notify you about the status of the loan accounts. Get monthly statements from your lenders so that you can do your budgeting accordingly.
