Please tell me, if you know, how I can get copies of all the credit reports, on a regular basis, to monitor a collection agency's reporting inaccurate information. I have already gotten my three free reports for the year. I need to check my reports, monthly.
thanks.

you can request a free copy once a year from each credit bureau. To simplify this process, the FTC has established www.annualcreditreport. To get your free Credit report from Innovis ( i lesser known credit bureau, you will have to write them directly and request it.

TO monitor your credit files on a more regular basis, you can sign up for a 3-1 monitoring service. There are several out there, but I personally reccomend he3 in 1 gold credit monitoring offered by Equifax, which cost about $129 per person per year. This does not include your credit score, but that can be added for an additional $9.00 per month. you can get more info on this at equifax.com

You can order your free annual credit report online at www.annualcreditreport.com, by calling 877-322-8228, or by completing the Annual Credit Report Request Form and mailing it to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281.

When you order, you need to provide your name, address, Social Security number, and date of birth. To verify your identity, you may need to provide some information that only you would know, like the amount of your monthly mortgage payment.
