Anybody recognize this number - 201/308-9360?

I just called it, just rang for me too. No luck on reverse number search either. Your best bet is to pick it up and find out who it is and what they want. while you have them on the phone, just say, I can not speak with you right now, can I have your fax number. Then fax them a cease and desist of all phone calls :D

that would be the best option, that is, after you find out that they are infact a credit collection agency and if you dont know them or have never dealt with them. no point in sending a cease and dessit letter to a fire fighters fund raising organization. ahahaha

Molly, have you looked over the yellow pages of New Jersey? I will try to locate this number. Well, I doubt if it isn't generated from a computer.

These gestapo have called me 18 times in the last 4 days. They're debt collecters. Im going to string them along for a little while, then answer the phone with a very authentic Indian accent demanding that they have the wrong number. We'll see.

Even when I do pick up this number, the number just hangs up on me! I tried calling it RIGHT back, and the phone rings! Very anoying while at work!

This is getting to be extremely annoying. This time I actually picked up the phone (recognizing the number through my caller ID), and got the same automated message. However, I didn't get to write down the entire 1-800 number they ask you to call.

Tried reverse phone lookup as others did here, but no luck. It is a NJ number in either Englewood or Newark. Also, did an extensive search in Google for possible companies that would make these calls but none of them had either of the phone numbers I have from them.

Did anyone get the fill 1-800 number? It starts as 1-800-414. Next time they call, I will get the whole number and call then back. However,if anyone calls watch out as I think there are certain numbers where they charge you outrageous fees per minute.

My caller ID gives this number the name Asta Funding, but the only info I have on them on yahoo is some asset company on the stock exchange. I've been called 4 times this week and whenever I answer I get hung up on. I haven't given this number out to anyone (I just moved) so I don't think it's a debt collector, but I'm not sure.

i get calls from this number all the time. at least once a day. they ask for someone by the name of richard stewart and everytime i pick up i'll tell them they have the wrong number, and they'll still call back sometimes 3 times a day. i'm about to get serious about this because they'll call at like 8am waking me up.

These people at 201-308-9360 just called me today and when I answered they hung up. If anyone knows who this is please post a reply.

i am not sure but i got a few calls with the 201 area code and it's from a company called ICS which is a payday lender.

I have recieved calls from this number about 4 times a day for the last 2 weeks. I have no outstanding bills or debt and anytime I answer the phone they just hang up. If this doesn't stop soon i may have to look into a legal action referring to Harrassment.

I was able to write down the number, 1800-414-8319. If you call it they request you social security number, which I believe is a hoax and ripe for identy theft.

How do you stop their calls?

That number just called. I have been recieving phone calls form them for about 2 years and everytime they ask for Arcadio for arcadio construction or something. I used to tell them they had the wrong number and they still call so now I just have fun with them

Listed as a scam on another site. There is no business with that name at the address provided. This is NOT a collection agency. They are using that as a ruse to get your info. They are calling prepaid cell phones as well, even those with no owner info listed anywhere.

i thought i was the only one getting calls from this number. it's really starting to upset me i pick up and no anwer, i call back nothing. :evil:

The company name is Palisades Collection. They are a collection company. I receive calls from them every once in a while, but I am making payments to them for a collection account with AT&T Wireless. (cell phone)
