payday loan company license inactive

I have been searching the texas stats database of licensed pdl companies. I found one that i have a loan with, but when i checked the license status, it said that it's INACTIVE. What does this mean? Got any ideas? PLEASE help me figure this one out.
I think that means they don't currently do business in that stat
I think that means they don't currently do business in that state, but are maintaing a license for the future.

But they are doing business, I took out a loan from them and now it is is collections in the company, and when they just called me, I asked them, and they had no answer for me, they said that they would have a supervisor call me with an answer, that has been over 2 hours ago.

Wait for someone to call you back and get the statement in writing. You need to review the calculation and know that they have charged within the permissible rates as per your state laws.
