Lorri, it's because you have not activated your adsense account with the google. The reason is the same for those who don't have their accounts activated. The complete procedure for activating the adsense is given in the link below.

Thanks for that info---if you will look at my blog the ads and search buttons are down low and I don't know how to get them to move up closer to my writing. Do you (or anyone else) know how to correct this?

sorry lorri...I just added in the codes like they said, and my ads automatically appeared up at the top. Perhaps ask Vikas to move them, maybe it's something they have to do on their end.

I think it might be the theme you pick that determines where the ads are placed. I liked yours, but there is no way of changing the color to make mine look different from yours. You know what I mean?

I am having so much trouble with this---maybe it is the way that I am looking at it. Will somebody else look at it and tell me if they see the ads? I don't know if I am supposed to or what.

andy===I see them now thanks---what I can't understand and maybe someone can explain is who looks at these blogs unless you happen upon this site? I know you have to click on the ads to make money, but it seems like if it were dependent just on hits from this site it would take a long time to make any money. Anybody care to comment?

That's true for any blog Lorri, not only the DebtCC blog. There are several ways of making your blog popular. Try to cover recent hot topics, offer some interesting information, then people will come to your blog first and then they will visit this site.

Blogs can be very very popular over the web, trust me. Initially it seems that people cannot find your blog without coming to this site. But there are several ways to make your blog public.

I think all of us should do some research on it first and then interchange our ideas. What do you say?

BTW, this could be a way to make people know about your blog.
