I just got some very bad news. My grandma went to the hospital over the week end. Apparently she has had cerosis of the liver for many years, yet nobody knew about it. She also appears to have lung cancer, and she has some other issues that are life threatening. The Dr. has no idea how or why she is stil alive. My grandma has never been a smoker, nor a drinker. I am so confused. It sounds like her days are numbered.

Polly I'm so sorry to hear that news. I have an aunt with lung cancer also who's only 58 and she's never been a smoker. She's been fighting it for a little over a year and doing well. I hope the best for your grandma. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

hey polly nice to meet you and sorry to hear that bout your grandma, always seems like the non-smokers, non drinkers end up with the cancers and the smokers and drinkers dont ever seem to. will keep her in my prayers

**HUGS** Polly! Cancer sucks. My aunt died of lung cancer and had no idea that she had it. (She was a smoker though) They said she had it for 7 years or more. By the time they found it, it had spread all over and there was nothing they could do. :( And what's funny is she went in to check her rib because she had been moving furniture and fell and was afraid she'd rebroken her rib. When they did the x-rays they found a spot on her lung.

I hope everything works out with your grandma and they get her better! Death sucks.

Congratulations on your new job Polly is it still with architecture? Sorry to hear about your Grandma. I know it's hard. My Mom had to put my Dad in a nursing home - she couldn't take care of him anymore - he had Parkinson's really bad within two years he died of Parkinson's. COngratulations on your new job!!
