Since they're not a collection agency, unfortunately they don't have to abide by the fdcpa. :( You could possibly call them and tell them to knock it off, you're making payments and they should just relax. But I don't know what good it would do.

That's what I'm thinking Jessi. I guess that they don't have anything better to do with their time than to keep dialing my number.

They used to call me every Saturday morning right at 8:00 am, I finally turned my phone off on Friday nights and didn't turn it on until 1:00 pm Saturday and guess who calls - I argued with them asked them to please go through consolidation - no they don't do that, finally I said I would make a payment of $25. they stopped calling and I am making a payment once a month of $23. I haven't heard from them since. Once you start making payments to them even once a month they stop calling - I am going to start making bi-weekly payments soon.
Capital Mngmt. for FNBM Calls me in the same way, only worse
FNBM had overcharged me, to the point of well over $1,000 in fees, along with refusing after agreeing to close my account originally once it was at a $0 balance. Now this false claim is being followed by Capital Management for collections, and they follow the same methods to reach me. (I screen my calls). They call almost every day, 3 - 27 times each. Some hang up calls on top of that, and even past 9pm in some cases, and before 8am. I was never notified of the class action lawsuit a few years ago, and believe that I may have qualified. They need to be stopped! Ripoffreport.com had 999 reports on FNBM. Also over 30 reports on Capital Management. What can I do to stop this? What can be done for anyone who is being treated unfairly, and even billed frauduantly by either of these companies (unless these companies are actual the same company or related)? Any suggestions?
