My credit card was charged off and sold to a junk debt collector. Can they charge me interest and late fees?

Possible, if the credit card company has mentioned in the agreement that after the account becomes delinquent and further collections done by a company will be allowed to add interests, the collector has the right to charge fees on it. But, it must be within the laws as per your state. Know the permissible interest charges and collection fees in your state before signing the agreement with the CA.
