S.O.L specific question on my report

Status: Account charged off/written off
It also says item was verified on 8-2004 remained unchanged.
QUESTION: The S.O.L In Ma. Is 6 years for Oral or written. cc& installment. So what date from obove does the s.o.l start from? I think 7-1999 that would make 6 years on 7-2005? And if so do the credit bueros atomaticaly delete it or do i have to initiate it with them?? Thank u in advance.

I have mentioned in your other post also about it. Since the payment was done completely through the collection agency, please talk with them and try to negotiate it. It is they who will update the information to the credit bureaus and thus the credit report will get updated. The credit bureaus have made the report according to the available information and they need to be updated through the creditors or the collection agencies.

Roxette, There is no collection agency involvement, I have never been contacted by anyone about payiong the account, it is still listed by the origanal credit union (Bank. the question is on the S.O.L Time frame.

Then you can ask the company whom you made payments to. They can update it with the bureaus.
The SOL definitely starts from the date when the account was opened. So, it is 7-1999
