I currently have 3 payday loans out and I cannot keep up with them. Can you help me consolidate them into one bill that I can pay monthly to get rid of it?

Hi PJSWEETS2

Welcome back. The consultant might have found a particular payday loan not eligible under consolidation program.

Please try to know the cause of his denial and assure the consultant that you will be doing your best to pay it from your side.

I hope that he might change his mind after seeing the positive sign in you.

Normally, they don't reject any debt unless it has taken the worst shape and goes beyond the point of mending it. But your positive approach might make the difference.

Hi, how is your progress on taking care of these payday loans? As you probably know now, these loans are trouble because they saddle you with high interest due to their short term nature. It is like, you are receiving a paycheck for your hard work and you have to give it all ,plus interest to some loan officer. So I hope that your third one will be your last one.

So they said that they cant consolidate. Well ask this person why this is so. Because you are right, sometimes they just tell you they cant consolidate because they don't want to lose money on their loan. Because when they have to re-negotiate lower interest, that means that they lose money. So it is possible that they may be saying that to get their money back.

So find out the details of your loan. talk to one of our counselors at {877-no-debt-8} and present them with the terms of your agreement. They will be able to discern if you will be eligible to consolidate this loan. Don't take this loan officer's word as gospel.

Tracy, I asked from my consultant about the problems in payday loan consolidation. He said that this company has network all over the United States and we work with the debt consolidation companies working in our area.

So, I think that few of the companies might be having problems in taking payday loan consolidation. I wish that this problem gets resolved very soon.

In the meantime, you can try to work with your original creditors. Did you get in touch with them? Considering the fact that you are willing to pay your debt, they might come to a settlement.

Do let us know.

I have paid my payday loan at least 4 times over in fees. I cannot afford to have them debit my account for the full $300; I cannot get in touch with them using 800-680-2177. I have left numerous messages in an effort to talk to them. I want to do a stop payment on the ACH debits, but can't have them calling me at work demanding payment. do I involve an attorney - I did collect some over paid fees on another company - I just want out of this

bewildered

Send a cease and desist letter and force the company to stop calling you at work. The fdcpa law restricts the company from calling you after receiving your letter. Please send your letter through certified mail with return receipt requested. Please read more on this thread.

Hi Erin

Welcome to the forums.

Many people are going through similar problems with payday loans. Due to some reasons, payday lenders and debt consolidation companies are not coordinating with each other, hence consolidation programs are not easily available.

In such a situation, it will be your best move to talk to your lenders and arrange for a payment plan. Explain your present financial situation and convince them that you are willing to pay the said debt within a reasonable period of time. Most of the lenders work out a plan to ease the consumers' financial problems. Due to your hard times, some of them even reduce the financial charges and the late fees making the total amount affordable to pay.

Try to pay the loans one by one concentrating more towards the large amount with the highest rate of interest. It will take some time but you are sure of your accounts getting paid.

Bewildered,
Same company has done the same thing to me. I have paid the loan back above and beyond what I have borrowed and they keep debiting my account. I finally went to my bank and had them close my account and open a new one. I also had them close my linked savings account and debit card just in case. I have tried to call this company and can never get in touch with them. You can send a letter to them asking them to stop contacting you and than go to your bank. Call them after your account is closed and let them know that you no longer have an open account and will have to pay them by money order. Also ask them for proff of what was paid and how much you now owe. I wish I would have found this site before I took out a loan with them. It would have saved me a lot of time, stress and money.

I put a stop payment on a 90.00 loan fee because I have been paying it for approximately 6 months and want to pay it but have no way to get in touch with them. I did get a threatening phoe call from a collection agency 1 week later saying to get an attorney but still no contact from Access. Of course the collection agency does not have their phone number.

Any ideas Thank you

What is the exact reason that you stopped your payment? Have they taken more money than what was expected? Payday loans are very expensive. You have to pay a renewal fee as long as you keep the principal unpaid. Go through your papers of agreement and see if any contact address is listed there. Try to speak to the original lender and work out a payment plan.

Tell the collection agency to validate the debt first, so that you understand if they are authorized to collect your account. You can send them a letter too. Don't forget to send your correspondence through CMRRR.

Feel free to ask your questions in forums, if you have any.

Thank you for your response. I stopped payment on it because I wanted to pay it down for the last two months and had no way to get in touch with them. I have never received paperwork, emails, etc. I called the bank to see if they had a phone number and they did not. I have searched on line extensively for anything related to this company called Access.
