Hi Guest,
Welcome to the forum.
You have not mentioned clearly about the amount of debts you are undergoing and also didn't mention about your association to this collection house.
However the demand for ten post-dated checks within 72 hours is highly ridiculous. You needn't pay any heed to these phone calls or to the demanding worker of the Allied. You are by no means bound to follow their orders. The collection agency is supposed to send you a written document for any transaction that you undergo with them. It is highly illegal on the part of the collection agency to harass you.
According to the fdcpa the collection agencies have to abide by some rules while collecting debts. They are prohibited from harassing a debtor and misbehaving with him. You may send a written notice to the collection agency stating that you are not keen to maintain any communication with them. They are bound to obey your instructions and can only contact you with your approval or through your attorney.

It is quite obvious that collection agencies with such bad reputation and such illegal means can't run their business successfully for long. You cool down and remember that, you are legally protected from the clutches of such agencies.
Feel free to revert back with further queries.

Bryan
