I'm behind on mortgage and have a huge car loan and do not have the income. The gas co. shut off my gas and I owe this huge phone bill, attorney bill and 1 credit card. I tried to refinance but can't. Is there anything I can do or should I let everything go?

Hi kdrake

Welcome to the forums

Your secured loan comprising of mortgage and car loan cannot be consolidated in the debt consolidation program. But your unsecured debt comprising o phone bill, attorney bill and credit card debt can be consolidated in the debt consolidation program. Please register yourself in the debt consolidation program tom consolidate your unsecured debt. This will reduce your total unsecured debt amount to the extent of 40% to 60%. In addition your interest charges will be reduced and your late fees will be eliminated to a great extent. As regards your secured loan you can go for ???No Equity Refinance' because you are having too much unsecured debts. The lender will lend you 100% or 115% or 125% of your home value. But you should try to pay off your mortgage loan to an extent where your loan to value ratio is below the loan granted. Otherwise no equity refinance is a good option. Please do not stress yourself out.

Hope you will find this information useful

Peter

Hi kdrake

Welcome to the forums. You have to take care and settle the past debts appearing in your credit report. Otherwise, you might be facing difficulties in acquiring new credit in the future.

So, I suggest you to enroll in a debt consolidation program, because it will not only ease your payments through monthly installments but also will erase all the negative entries which are presently shown in your credit report.

Please let me know if you are having any queries regarding the debt consolidation program. This program has been used by many people for taking care of the past debt and it improves their credit ratings. Thus, it is nowadays, one of the most popular and reliable program to improve the financial worthiness of an individual.
