hello Forum
I have here a litle problem on my hand and i don't know how to handle it please help me if any one can.
fact is i have a debit of $150 with sbc reason is they offer me some free promotion and i accepted because don't use it there for i'm forgot all about it and when sbc send me the bill i told go away it was free,they told me it's only free 3 months after that i have to pay,i got mad cut off service,and not pay it:)) and now i'm open a business and need to turn on the fone bad luck for me the area my shop is only can get service from SBC comp,when i call them and agree to pay that amount of money i yet pay them,they send me to american agency to pay it,when i open the fone SBC check with american agency and get report that i have a debt of $230 to the pacific (also fone comp)10 years ago and SBC refuse to open the fone line to my business,i dont know much about law but i understand the anything over 7 years of age will be of the record but i not sure and don't know how to take care of this want to pay that litle amount so i can get on with my life but get run around and can open business because no fone,thinking fo asking other people to open it for me but :))) feel that American agency are doing wrong to me and i want to counter punch with american agency.can any trainer here can take me to the camp and show me hoew to knoch the hell out of american agency please help

Was it written in the agreement that it will be free for 3 months before you signed it?

Also, did you pull your credit report in between to know the status of this account? Your credit report must be furnishing all the details about this account and you can dispute with them legally if your account has been misrepresented.
