I DO have 'small' amounts of debt, as well. Other companies, I've talked to, have told me that I needed to have a certain amount of debt to 'qualify' ( for consoladation/settlement,etc...and needed a certain amount of CC debt, too. Gosh..........I'm not going to accummulate MORE debt just to get someone to help me.LOL So...it may take alittle longer, but, I'm trying to clear my debts on my own.

the f-bomb is not okay as you can see the post is removed.it's just that there was an advance fee loan scam using that name.again if you see anything like that again let someone know.i will be dealt with.

You will probably just need to work hard on paying this deBt yourself. I dont see the sense in paying extra to a debt management company for two small bills.
How would you get yourself in to another $1000 debt??
Help me with my debt!
I owe $450 to a credit card company, another $135 to a collection agency, $190 to a different collections agency, as well as $150 in hospital bills and $700 in dental bills. I only make $70/week (I am a college student) and I do not have the means to make any more money than I already do. The $70/week are used to pay for food, travel and living expenses. I have no money saved up either. Most debt consolidation programs won't help me because there is a minimum amount of debt that they will consolidate. I am getting constant phone calls as well as mail from the various collections. I also have gotten a phone call threatening to sue. I really need some help. Is anyone aware of any companies that would be willing to help me? I've gotten so desperate that I even wrote to Oprah! I really hope someone has some helpful information. Thank you!
