If a wife is a habitual credit spender, is there any way for a husband to be insulated from that. They live together, but they keep their finances separate. They live in Massachusetts.

Their has to be a mutual understanding between a marital relationship. It needs to be understood personally from inside first before anyone can put comments on it.

Legally speaking, both of the individuals have their own credit identity and will not have any interference in any of the credit reports. If they manage their finance independently, then the accounts will not coincide but if they jointly sign some agreement, then both will have to face the consequences.
