read the forums, there are lots of post available on here. They can not do anything to you. The first clue should have been when he called you an idiot.
they have been suspended from collecting money, as you will see in the forums, when all fails hang up.

Just dont verbally fight back with them via phone. Some "jerk" calling me an "idiot" on the phone would only illicit a long string of curse words and insults from my end...but ultimately, you dont know if they're recording the conversation or whatnot. Last thing you'd need is them accusing you of oweing thousands of dollars and also editing your phone conversation to make you sound like the aggressor.

Welcome to the forums. After reading the numerous posts in this website, I believe that you must have made yourself familiar of how to deal with the personals from Ellis Crosby.

The membership of Ellis Crosby has been revoked and they are restricted from doing normal collection efforts.

Since they have been under the direct supervision of various government agencies and consumers, they are involving themselves in other tactics of unfair business. They are changing their names and address while interacting with the consumers.

You are suggested to acquire proper validation of any accounts that is claimed by any debt collection agency. They will have to legally produce all the necessary details of your accounts failing which you can refuse to pay the said debt.

I was harassed by an Investigator Roe from this Ellis Crosby. I plugged there phone number 904/356-0886 into google and came up with your website. I was being charged with bank fraud and that a warrant was out for my arrest. After reading the postings, I am now aware that this is illegal practice. I do want to take care of this but need guidance.

Please advise.

Welcome to the forums. You can take control of yourself by feeling stronger from inside. When you have realized by now that all the practices of Ellis Crosby are unfair and illegal, it is they who should feel scared and you need to take the stronger side.

No matter what they say, but you have the legal right to know everything that they claim. If they charge with bank fraud, ask them to prove it. They just don't have the right to involve in such unfair practices.

File your complaints at the FTC, BBB. DS's office and request for immediate action
