Here is some info on the company that's been harassing several innocent people. I didn't put up with their junk and neither do you!

The above is "under construction" but it's up periodically. I should hack it. 8)

They also have an outstanding expense warrant by the State of Florida of about 1,200. Maybe THEY should look into debt consolidation! LOL!

Ok...so now that I have their fax, what should I do to request a debt validation? And what do I do in the end regarding this debt? These people are absolute jerks, and their techniques are most likely used only to scare the common, legal jargon challenged...I'm actually in the process of filing bankruptcy and would include this debt...but again...I'm Lost!!!!

Hi

As per the fdcpa law, the debt collector has to provide you the complete information about the said debt. Your account will include the following information:

  • The details of the account.

  • All the calculation should be shown of the amount that is owed.

  • Any copies of the papers to be furnished that shows the payment agreement.

  • Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable

  • The original creditor needs to be identified.

  • The Statute of Limitation needs to be proven for the collection of the debt.

  • The license of the collection agency applicable in the state is to be furnished along with the license numbers and Registered Agent

  • Proof of the agreement that the debt collector has purchased the debt or has been hired by the creditor to collect the debt from the debtor as this is the basic contract law.

  • Complete payment history showing the details of the creditors, payment history, amount of the debt, break up of fees/interest should be provided in paper.

  • A copy of the original signed loan agreement between the debtor and the original creditor establishing the debt between both the parties also has to be produced.

If they are unable to validate the said debt, then they are legally required to remove the information from your credit report.

If a debt is not existent, or can't be validated, then you should make arrangements by writing a dispute letter to the credit bureau that is reporting this account. Make sure that you confirm this entry by pulling the credit report from the other two bureaus.

Regards
Roxette

Guitar Slayer,

I was harassed today by an Investigator Roe. He threatened me by stating there was a warrant out for my arrest if I did not pay today. I happened to plug in the telephone number of 904/356-0886 and this website came up with all messages of people who have been duped by these people.

Thanks for the info.
