I make about 1,600 a month and my total payments of debts is way over that. I can't even pay regular bills like electric, phone etc.. I don't know how this got out of control. I have about 5 loans out and the rest is 2 credit cards, medical. I am at a lost of what to do. Even with a second job it just don't cut it with the rising of gas and everything else. Can't even afford food anymore and have 3 kids to feed. I need help so bad it is unreal and don't know where to turn without losing everthing.

Hi flowernspring

Welcome to the forums. I am sorry to hear that you are going through such hard times in your life.

Consolidation program will be helpful as it will offer you easy monthly installments within your reach. Also it will combine all the multiple bills into one loan amount and you will be offered to pay at a lower rate of interest.

The consultant working in the program will negotiate with your creditors and he will reduce all the financial charges, late fees from it. Thus, you will be offered to pay the reduced amount of your debt.

This program will be helpful to you in regaining your financial position and you will be able to become debt free within a considerable period of time.

Regards
Roxette

While you are in the process of consolidating, please see about grace periods with your electric and phone companies. These are amenities that you need.
Consolidation will definitely help you, as roxette suggested, I'd highly recommend it as well.

As for food, I saved a lot of money buying store-name brands as opposed to big names. If you live near a Costco or something like that, that is a good way to get a lot of food for cheaper prices.
