Primetime lending is a scam

Yolanda - You should file your complaint against Primetime Lending at the FTC, BBB, DA's office and request for urgent action.

Many of the consumers with similar problems are taking legal actions with the help of the attorney.

If we were able to help bring Ellis Crosby down, we can certainly bring this company to attention as well!

I was also just taken by this company and would love to join in any action necessary to make sure they don't do this to anyone else.

My husband had talked with them a week or 2 ago and after reading information on this site and calling the BBB myself we decided not to take their *loan*. Yesterday we had a message on our answering machine from a *Rose Garcia* saying to call about our loan and the company name was Freedom Trust. My husband called today because he'd never heard of them and wanted to find out why they called, turned out it was Primetime using a different name. He called the number she left and some guy answered, he asked for her and the guy wouldn't transfer him. He then asked what company he had called and the guy didn't want to tell him until he told this guy his name. The guy was being a jerk and my husband finally gave him his name. Then the guy said for my husband not to call them or there would be a *lawsuit*. My husband informed him that he was RETURNING a call and for them to not contact us or we'd file harrasment charges on them.

Do NOT trust these people. I assume they must be mad at us because we didn't fall for their lies.

Yes, we should not get intimidated by such unfair practitioner. Just now, I heard Ellis Crosby getting punished by the bureaus. I think next is Primetime Lending.

I was also taken by them. I wish I would have contacted the Better Business Bureau first. They now have about $900 of my money and I dont forsee ever getting that back. As a matter of fact I called this morning to inquire about a refund I was supposed to receive and I think the number is disconnected. I hope they are not able to do this to anyone else.

I was scamed by them as well they have $1500 of my money and when I requested a refund after timeless running around to get the money. I called this morning after waiting 2 weeks form my refund. The company is no longer there and it someother answering service.

I wish that I also looked into the Primetime Lending before giving them $3,803.36. I had borrowed the amount between my father and boyfriend. Now I'm pissed and very upset. Because they promised me the loan 3 weeks ago and I have been fighting with them even asked for my refund and got the run around until today. Now all I get is a recording that my money has been put on hold and that I need to call customer service which I thought was the people that I was talking to in the first place. Now I don't know what to do because I was depending on that money and to get my credit back to being from poor to perfect. If anyone has suggestions please post it in the forums.

You can take legal help and try to get your money back.

I think that,thanks to this board in part,This scam company will not take anyone elses hard earned money.
Before this board there was not one place to get the truth about this company.

hi i send the money to them in Canada with the name of SAMANTHA GORDON around 1500.00 and the lady i talked here is **Rose Garcia* . when i ask them about the money they are saying pay other 500.00 and when i asked them for Refund they are asking me to wait for other 3-6 weeks. Please help me in getting back the money. i am in serious trouble now. or where can i file charges against them

Formal complaints can also be lodged at the FTC and the BBB as all the companies are governed by these bureaus.

In response to all your messages, i happened to used to work for the company, and it was a scam, the group that got it together were basically from poor families and i needed the money, sorry to everyone but i guarantee you won't see the money again, unfortuanately.

are you serious? YOU needed the money? what about all of us working hard, NOT scamming people to make our money, and it just gets taken away by scumbags like you? How do you live with yourself, seriously?
