How do I get a Payday loan from FSM Group Inc. A freind of mine got one and I would like find how I can get one too.

First, I would like to recommend avoiding payday loans! I can't find any reputable info on FSM, and most likely, they're scamming cads like the rest of the payday loans out there. If your friends goes through with the loan smoothly, without fraudulant activity, without harassment, without over-the-top fees, then you can consider applying for one.
Just be careful!

You should do a proper research before taking a proper payday loan. You should only think of taking a payday loan if you believe that you can manage to pay it within the payday.

If you fail to pay it within the due date, the rate of interest will be unaffordable and it will keep soaring higher. Your hard earned money will only be going towards the payments of the fees and other additional charges.

I got a loan through FSM - had some financial setbacks and they are the ones that have turned me over to Ellis Crosby. I received a call today which was threatening to me form Ellis Crosby. I would be very careful if I was you.

this is in regards to his wonderful way of harrassing and intimidating if i was anyone looking at this company for a loan.personallly i think he was the most unprofessional person i have ever met and the yelling and screaming made me think i was dealing with a child. if this gets to someone who cares in this company i think you should send him to a class on how to be a PROFESSIONAL.
Thank you

I would think so brat. One of mine offered me in half in two monthly payments. I am able send them money orders to avoid the fees of western union. They are mailing me a letter before I pay anything though stating they won't try to collect anything further in the future, etc. One I only paid $100 toward I owed them several hundred more. This is one that went through the AG's office because of harassment charges.

I doubt they will respond either but at least the complaint is on file. I have more info to send to my AG's office against Sonic tomorrow along with another payday loan company. I think it surprises these lenders that we learn our rights and actually stand up for ourselves. Just think of all the people who fell victim to their games. I am so lucky since I found this forum. I don't know where I would be today without it.

I currently took out a payday loan through Premier Processing, and had to put a stop payment on it because I closed my bank account. I contacted them to pay it off, but they sent me to an outside collection agency. The original loan amount was for $390. which included a $90 finance charge, but the collection agency wants over $800 to pay it off. Is this legal?

Kristy,

The creditors can hire some collection agency to collect the debt in case of not receiving payments from you. Since they are hired, you can still work with the original creditor and pay off the account.

When the collection agency contacts you for this debt, they must give the complete details of your account held with the original creditor. In this statement, they must show the complete balance specifying the interest charges added to the principal amount. Along with it, they must send copies of your contract signed with the original creditor and also give you the details of the SOL period. The statement should make you clear of the total balance owed before you make a payment agreement. If any item is found incorrect, you must dispute so that it is sent for verification to your original creditor. Make payment arrangements only after you are served with proper details about the account.

You can also get in touch with the original creditor and explain your problems faced with the collection agency. Hopefully, the whole matter will get resolved without any problems and the account is paid off with ease.

I have stopped payment on this company. I want to offer them a settlement but have no contact information. I've actually been trying to contact them for 3 weeks.

It amazes me how quickly these loan sharks changes names once people catch on and start filing complaints againt them. I think Sonic is the same way. Once they bring in a CA, it's a whole different matter, I'm finding out. I'm going to call T & C tomorrow to find out when this one lender accepted the proposal plan. I know first payment has been made. The original lender has told me that. I'm just wondering if they turned it over to collections after they received the first payment. Argh!!

Well SOnic Payday is out of IRELAND and They probably are not licensed to do business here in the US or in some of the states. None of the payday loans are licensed in my state (Virginia) but they still loaned me the money - loansharks.

Guest,

From what I've found, Sonic is not licensed in my state, Pennsylvania, or Delaware where their collections department supposedly is. I believe their headquarters was in BC at one point but they are under investigation there. I hope this company does get shut down for its' predatory and illegal practices.

Thanks Sue for the vote of encouragment. I'm writing a letter now to the FDIC Regional Office in New York about the First Bank of Delaware and it's predatory payday loan practices. They supply finds to several payday lenders including Universal Cash Advance. I would urge you all to write. I can give you a link for a sample letter that I am using. We have until the end of March to send our correspondence in. :)

Mishele can you let me knwo the link to the letter...I fel the same way...like I want to become the crusader against evil payday laon companies. Look how nice (and Smart!) everyone is inthe forums....none of us seem itnerested in dodging our debts.....there has to be another solution for short term loans - people get into binds for all kinds of reasons.....but to have your whole life destroyed? God, it's literally criminal

I have one company - cashtransfercenters - who illegally tried to garnish my wages through my payroll department. I have contacted CCS but am afraid that they will try to garnish me anyway. Any suggestions? My email is
