I need your input please! I have incurred a huge debt in the UK £20K & considering leaving the UK to go to SA to escape this debt. Will they be able to find me there? Im not particularly worried about my credit rating but am sick with worry about them getting hold of me in SA.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Running away from your debt will most likely help you to hide from being contacted...your address and phone numbers will change, obviously. But if you would like to clear your conscience, you can send money grams or Western Union back to the UK. They will get their money, but not be able to find you. And if you start fresh, keep in mind what you learned from debt.

Don't stress! :-)

Hi Afraid,

It is not likely to trace out one person in another country. But there are collection agencies, which have their network widely spread in different countries. If your account is sent to any of these agencies, they will try their best to find you out.

Before running away from debts, check what options you have in your hand to pay it back.

Regards
Bryan
