I have also received these calls from Mr. Price and I believe Mr. Wakefield. I am not sure on that last name because by the time I hung up I was so distraught I thought I would completely lose control. I also had to leave my place of employment and had to borrow monies to pay via money wire before 3:00 on..I received the calls probably about 1 1/2 hours to that time. If I didn't, then I also would have been "hauled" off to jail...That a warrant for my arrest had already been issued. I truly wish now that I had not panicked like I did, but under the cirumstances, I did..Now I am not alone and have contacted the Atty. General's Office in Florida,...

Good for you for contacting the Atty. Generals office in FLorida. I experienced harrassment of this nature years ago and I cannot remember the collection agency that had contacted me. They did say they would show up at my job and continued to harass me until I told them that I am recording the conversations and I have forwarded all of their voicemails to my attorney. Funny thing i never heard from that company again

Barbara:

There are numerous posts on this site regarding ECA. You should read through some of the threads and the advice given there. This group is currently suspended and unable to legally collect. It is also illegal for them to harass you in the manner that they did - specifically at your workplace. You're in good hands on this forum ... so read up! :-)
