I consolidated my payday loans with this company and they referred me to one consultant who is working in my program. You can also take specialist advice from the consultant and know your available options.

i have a payday loan open and it is deliquent i got a call from some agency they want the full amount in three days or i will be arrested, can they do that. eveybody tells me no, but i am still scared.

Of course you're scared. Who wouldn't be, right? But no, they can not arrest you! In order to help you, we need to know what state you're in and who your PDL is with. Is it internet or storefront? This way, we can give you a more accurate picture of where you're at.

I posted up above earlier. I am from New Jersey. They were telling me they went to go into my bank account it was an internet loan. And i paid i guess the percentge fee. And they said the next pay day when i wanted to pay more towards the loan that the bank would not honor their transaction. That it came up insufficient funds. I did leave money in the account. And they want to add an additional 250.00 because they said they tried taking the money out up to eight times nd were charged fees. I know my bank would of charged me those fees also i was not charged. I am also aware that even if only half of the amount was in the account that the bank still would of paid the money and hit me up with overdraft charges. So they are telling me that on memorial day monday i am going to locked up for fraud. because it is the same as writing a bad check. I don't know what to do. It wan A ch debit. but evryone tells me that it is still a loan and has to go into collection and that they still can't come and lock me up.

I can tell you this again: THEY ARE LYING TO YOU!!!! And do what I did when I first went through this: call your local police dept and see if there are any warrants for your arrest. In my case, that was the first time that I started to see light at the end of the tunnel, when they told me that there were no warrants, like they are going to tell you. Do it now! Good luck.

Oh and one more thing: is the name of the collection company calling you Bass and Associates, by any chance? This is classic Bass behavior, if it is.

I think that PDL are teh worst thing in the world. I no longer live paycheck to paychek, i work for the PDL company.

PDL companies like illegal measures. They probably blackmailed him.

Naah...probably those great starvation wages they were paying him!!

I've always wondered if they work on comission.

IMHO, the only people making real money off a PDL are the company owners--who are probably paying their people peanuts.
