Does anyone out there know of a company that is offering this service? My local credit union was at one time but not anymore. I am in some deep credit problems and am trying to avoid filling Chapter 7. Any information or ideas would greatly be appreciated.

James

Hey! Some programs will allow you to do this...but like with all things financial, be careful of who you're dealing with...it's ok to be suspicious in this case...you're credit is always on the line! Ask questions, be picky and if the company still sounds ok, go for it. Just remember to stay on top of things!

Hi James

Welcome to the forums.

This company offers consolidation program on all your unsecured debts making your repayment process easier and thus improves your credit file after all the payments are complete with the creditors.

In the consolidation program with this company, you do not have to keep anything as collateral. Keeping something in collateral involves a higher rate of risk because if you miss in any of the payments, you might have to lose your property.

Consolidation loans do need some kind of collateral to be attached against the loan amount. Moreover, you will have to pay the interest twice on the loan amount. I will advise you to enter for a specialist advice in this website so that you can know your available options.
