[quote=Mike]Really very precise information on credit report.
This can potentially help a lot of people.
Does it harm in any way if Quote:

    Type of Company
    and Purpose for accessing
    are not mentioned?
    Please clarify.

    Hello,

Not all formats of credit reports out there will give name and purpose for accessing, but if you order direct from the credit bureau and not a reseller, them reports should contain that information.

If it does not, you can use the report number and phone number to call in customer service at the credit reporting agency and ask the rep to provide you with that information.

Checking accounts and Saving accounts are not listed on credit reports.

If you write a bad check, or over draft then it will go into a seperate report with a check system. And that data is maintained for 5 years unlike the regular credit reporting agency which reports for 7 to 10 years on negative data.

If you are denied opening a checking account due to negative information on a check system, then you will be notified just like regular reporting agencies of an address to write to, to obtain a free copy of your report and you can review and dispute just like you would a regular credit reporting agency.
