I made the mistake of getting hooked on payday loans. I have a few. They are all in past due. I am going throuh a debt management program to pay them back. Although a couple of the payday loan companies say that they do not work with 3rd parties, the debt management progream is still sending them money each month. Even though the loan companies say they don't work with third parties, if they are reciving money each month, can they do anything to me

Hi patriotm

Welcome to the forums. I think that you should discuss this matter with the consultant working in your debt management program.

In such programs, you are supposed to receive a monthly statement from your creditors as well as from the debt consolidation companies about how your money was used each month.

If you have a paper record of your payments made, then I don't think that the creditors won't have anything to do against you.
