First thing you need to do is try to contact your friend, then contact the police cause it sounds like you don't want to get her in trouble but hey if she is using your name and messing your credit up you need to contact the police get a police report number and try to get in contact with these places and tell them the case number tell them you have made a police report and tell them it is not you cause you don't won't to mess yourself up in the long wrong you know..Thanks chmartinbaby06

Welcome to the forums. After lodging your complaint in the police, please contact the credit bureaus and activate a fraud alert in your credit file.

Your credit file will be alerted within 24 hours with all the major credit bureaus. Your data will be shared and your name will be removed from all the places where you have earlier applied for credit and other insurance offers for two years.

Also keep a very close watch on your credit report to make sure that no one is trying to ruin your credit further by making credit inquiries or opening new credit accounts.
