I am receiving computer generated calls

I think my husband responded once and now we keep getting a recording everyday I did the block phone numbers with IRS and it still keeps calling me. Getting very frusated. How can I get them to quit calling me? I wanted to warn person asking whose number not to respond to it.

Similar problems have been faced by many others who got calls from the said number. Please check the link given below and have a broader idea.

The voice sounds to be generated by the computer and there is no live person to attend the call. I think you should lodge a complaint at the nearest police station.

Rebecca, It is important to remember the FTC DO-NOT-CALL registr

Rebecca, It is important to remember the FTC DO-NOT-CALL registry does not apply to Certain groups or business, among them creditors and collection agencies.
If these calls are telemarketing calls, then it is also important to rememeber the block takes 31 days to update in the FTC database and to become effective. IF it has been less than 31 days since you registered your phone number, then the FTC will not take any action against the offending company.
