Can an out of country hospital bill effect ur credit in usa?

Helo,,i recently were involved in a traffic crash in france,,but i was only a us citizen visiting the country..i cannot pay the 8,000 hospitla bill.can the french hospital effect my us credit report.tks

Xristosx, the French law is entirely different from the fdcpa law in US. You could have paid the entire hospital bill over there only and ended this matter for ever.
However, leaving the debt unpaid will not reflect in your credit file in United States as FCRA law does not pull information from outside countries.
