I want to consolidate my debt, my husband and I are current for the most part, but are struggling big time, I am currently staying home, doesn't pay for me to work and get a sitter, we have 3 kids. We are barely getting by, borrowing from peter to pay paul. What is your advice without totally ruining our credit? We would like to get a house one day at a decent apr.

Jennyo,

I was also having the same problems some time ago. Though I was able to keep my bills current but was not able to manage payments with interests as high as 22%. I was having a hard time managing my finance.

One of my friends suggested me for this consolidation program. I was told that the total debt will be reduced and I can pay the whole debt in easy monthly installments. I was also offered a reduced amount of my total debt to pay. This program helped me in solving my major financial problems. I enrolled myself in this site and the consultant called me up. He offered some advice before I got started with it.

I am at the final stages of my program and have been able to improve my credit report quite a lot. I suggest you should also seek advice of the consultant at this site. They will be helpful in solving your present situation.

I am in the initial stages of my debt consolidation. I am getting angry irate calls from Cash Call telling me that they will not deal with a third party.
The debt consolidation person told me that they do. HELP! what do I do? Not answer the phone? They then call me on my cell phone. man.I wish I never got in this mess.

You mentioned that it doesn't pay for you to work, because you have 3 kids? Are these school aged kids, or younger children. Most larger companies, the ones you should always try to seek employment with, might have a daycare on site. Even some small companies give discounts to local child care agencies. Unless the job you seek out for only pays $7, then that money might end up being turned over to the sitter.

Would be to maybe work one day a week, or at nights. Usually if you do this, even just for a season...will bring you income that wouldn't be there otherwise.

debt consolidation is a great way to reduce your debt, but don't limit your income potential. There are plenty of oppurtunities out there, that can also bring money to the table, and create a happier lifestyle.

Mike

The consultant working in your program will responsibly handle the situation with your creditors and you don't have to worry about your payments with them. He will ensure that your debt accounts are paid in full and accordingly shown in your credit report.

In between, if the creditors call you up and ask for a payment, please tell them that you are making payments through the consolidation company and it is getting deposited in your debt account. If there is anything that they have to say, then they need to get in touch with the consultant. They should not disturb calling you at your home phone number or your mobile number as you refuse to communicate with them. If it is done, it is a violation of the fdcpa law and you are likely to take legal actions against them.
