I have horrendous credit card debt from my ex who battered me going into probably (i dnt have a copy of my credit report i am on disability and can't afford it) & I'm multiply disabled and deaf only (after the domestic violence) & can't pay anything to repair it unless they'd take $5 a month or something. What do I do? I can't even afford the filing or legal fees for Bankruptcy?? ANy help you can provide would mean the world to me. I'm almst 44 and I need to get this cleaned or gone to start over in life somehow. Graciously in appreciation,

I am so sorry that you are going through such struggling times at this stage of your life. I think that you should contact some CCCS services in your area which are run by the government and are non profit organizations. Most probably, they will be able to help you as they have different set of programs for the people in disability.

Also, if you can arrange money from your near and dear ones and pay this debt off, it will speed up your process in cleaning your credit file.
