moving abroad with debts

i have debts, but am supposed to be moving abroad and want be able to pay as much back what do i do?

Call up your creditor and tell them that you are planning to move abroad and want to pay a lump sum. They will give you an option with a reduced sum as they won't be able to track you outside the country.


Welcome to the forums and it is better to have a clean credit report before leaving the country. If you are planning to come back then a clean credit report will be advisable.

Hi Guest,

Please don't keep any liabilities before leaving your place. Being safe and having a clean credit history will be helpful to you in the long run. Leaving your dues here will culminate a fear and won't let you live peacefully outside.
