I am still on the financing of my ex-husband's mortgage. When I go for a loan I am unable to get one because this comes up on my credit report. He claims he cannot refinance. If I file bankruptcy will I be able to get off his mortgaging?

Was this an FHA loan? How long ago were you divorced? It may have changed now but when I divorced in the 90's, even though I relinquished everything to do with the house, I was still listed for another 5 years.
