Creditors returned payment to my consolidation company

is it legal for a payday loan company not to accept outside payments? I am working with a debt management company and they said that every payment that they send to the creditor is returned to them. I don't get it. They want thier money back - they are getting it back. Slowly, yes, but why would they return a payment?

Usually the debt consolidation company speaks with each of your creditors to find out, first, if they're willing to work with the program. I would have them contact the payday loan company that keeps returning the payments. Perhaps you're sending it to the wrong address.

In addition to what Mike has said, inquire about this problem with your consultant. The consultant will negotiate with your creditors in the first place before payments are sent to them.
