I've tried to convince a credit card company that the account charged to me isn't mine. However their final decision was that it was. How can I get the original application for the card?

Hi GERALD

Welcome to the forums.

You need to send a letter to the credit card company requesting to verify the said account.

Mention in your letter that the said account does not belong to you and due to this, your credit file is not accurately reflecting the credit history. They are required to furnish proof of this account if it is owed by you.

After investigation if your dispute is found valid, they will update your file with the bureaus otherwise you have the legal rights to take actions against them.

Send your letter through certified mail with return receipt requested as you will be able to track your information.
