Now that your debt has passed on to a collection agency, please be very careful in dealing with them. Whatever agreement is done should be done in written form. Oral conversation should be avoided to the maximum. If you have any doubt regarding your debt, then you should ask them to validate it so that it becomes accurate from both ends. Also, try to make payments in time so that your credit report improves after you have completed making payments.
