A creditor does Wage garnishments as per the laws laid down in the Federal Consumer Credit Protection Act (CCPA). It allows garnishment to a maximum of 25% of employee's net earnings.

I think this information will be useful to a lot of people. I get phone calls(at work--i do payroll) all the time because people think that I can just start and stop their garnishment when they(garnishee) tells me to.
