BMG Group has sent an account to Ellis Crosby

Can anyone tell me who BMG Group is? They sent a letter stating we have defaulted on a loan and it has been turned over to Ellis Crosby & Associates for aggressive recovery. If Ellis Crosby is no more then how can an account still be turned over to them?

I fear if Ellis Crosby is using a different name and a new method to collect money from you. You do not have to pay anything to Ellis Crosby as they are out of business.
Check your credit report and see if anything negative has been reported in your file. Have you ever had financial transactions with BMG Group? Ask them about the details of the accounts for which they have sent you the letter.
I doubt if they will respond you as I smell something unusual here.
