I need to know what to do about these nutty people taking money out of my account that isn't even there. I was told by someone on here that I can put a block on an id number. Will it effect my account and my credit history?

My bank let me do a stop payment on using the companies ach ID number. This was good for 6 months and stopped the auto withdrawals. I contacted the companies I had loans with first to see if I could work out payment arrangements before doing the stop payments. Some worked with me, but others would not. Nothing has showed up on my credit report to date concerning the payday loans.
