what does this title mean or represent

Hi Billie

Welcome to the forums.

In an assignment, a person can transfer the ownership, rights, or interests in property to another person. The person to whom the contract is assigned is known as the ???assignee'. The person who has transferred the contract is known as assignor.

Hope this answers your query.

Regards
Roxette
