I'm having a hard time paying off my debts.

Do you just have one credit card,if so,you should call them and try to work out easier payment arrangments.If you are having a hard time paying one card,then it might not be a good idea to buy a car at this time,You will have a car payment,insurance,etc and still have to pay for your credit card.
If you have more than one card then you might want to talk to a counseler from this site,sign up here or call 800-601-1579,and they will give you very good advice on what you next move should be.If your in a consolidation program,it will show on you credit report,but late payments also show,so atlease they will see that you are trying to correct your situation.If you credit is not so good,you will pay higher interest when you buy your car,but you probaly wont have a problem finding someone to sell you one.

Once you enter into the consolidation program the rate of interest will be reduced and all the financial charges will be eliminated. So you will find it easier to pay off all your credit card dues.
