Thanks for the heads up two kid. It's a shame something like this happens to people. These companies prey on individuals and it makes me sick. We should all learn to check businesses out before doing any type of business with them. It is something that I have learned the hard way myself. I'm grateful I have my insurance through my employer but it is difficult for the elderly right now.

A similar incident broke out in Florida in the year 2004. Scammers targeted senior citizens at that time. People lost more than $2 million in this scam. Division of Insurance Fraud and Division of Agent and Agency Services, Bureau of Investigations carried out an investigation jointly. Few people were arrested also.
You have said it right twokid, ???scams are everywhere???. Insurance scam does not involve health insurance only; scammers have spread their trap in the field of automobile insurance too, so everybody should be very careful from now on.
Thanks for bringing this topic in the forums :D

I wonder if these are those same people that put the signs up on telephone poles all around town.
They'll say, "Affordable health insurance for self employed! Call *blah blah blah*" You have to wonder about a company that advertises on telephone poles on poster board with a marker.
