Can anyone help with advice? I recently received my credit report, and wanted to call the companies(5) i owed money too. To get some information on how i can go about settling with them.and then to see which companies i can afford to start paying. Anyhow i called midland, and spoke to a very nasty, rude rep.who told me i had to pay something now- i explained my situation to her and how i was simply just trying to gather some information on every company so i can pay off. Well i had to hang up because she wouldnt stop. Well ever since ive been getting calls from her constantly.ive explained to her im not working(and my boyfriend has spoken to her explaining he's the one working),ive told them to stop harrassing me( they call asking for me by first name and then tell me this is ms.***** and what are you going to do? I tell them i can't pay at the moment and when i gather money ill call them just like i did the first time.s oi hang up and they call back about 3 to 4 times ahain the same day.. I dont know what to do with them. They get real nasty on the phone and ive explained over and over i do not have money to settle with them at the moment, i just had a baby. Well sorry i wrote too much, can someone help?

You can always expect the financial companies to be rude on people because they are not getting their money back at the agreed time. However, after knowing the actual condition from you, people from these companies should not call you repeatedly and harass people on this note. There is very little that you can do unless the debt is paid off.

You can consider enrolling yourself in a consolidation program and pay off the debt. This program will be helpful to you because you will be set lower monthly installments till your debt is paid off. Besides, the creditors will stop calling you after they receive money through your consolidation company. This reduces a lot of pain and embarrassments of the consumers. Your total debt will be reduced to the minimum because the consultant will negotiate with your creditors and wipe off the financial charges and other late fees. I will suggest you to take a free consultation as I did for me. My debt accounts are now properly taken care with the help of my consolidation company. And, there is a lot of relief when I don't get calls from the creditors anymore. You can get a free consultation from the counselors of this website.
