I am working on consolidating with T&C and these people are not cooperating. They are refusing to deal with them. The address I have for them is PO Box 1216, Oaks, PA 19456. Phone 866-958-3278.

It makes no sense to me that they would refuse to accept payments- isn't some money better than no money! I am trying to correct the mess I am in, and I am trying to be responsible for my debt. I guess I didn't think of anyone refusing payment!

Has anyone else had any dealings with them? Are they really this unflexible, or will they eventually deal?

Crystal

What exactly does that mean that it isn't located in the US? The PO box is in Pennsylvania. I'm just trying to figure out what I am dealing with here. If T & C sends them a payment and they refuse it, aren't they the ones in the wrong? They have told me I have to pay this in full ($481) by Feb. 1 or they will take legal action against me. What exactly does that mean?

I think we should all know the answer to this question...

Blizzard Interactive has several clients. I'm not totally sure if Sonic "owns" MyCashTransfers, but their calls go into that call center. Same goes for Client Connections, and PLR Direct. MyCashTransfers came about sometime March of 2005.

This must be the reason why they are so difficult to deal with, when it comes to consolidation.

Mike

The address I found for MyCashTransfers is located in Malta. I just simply meant that when sending mail out of country to a business of such, it is sometimes harder to get a response back. Have you tried calling their collection department and explaining the situation yourself.

The only reasoning I can think of is that they do not want to disclose their location when they cash the money order or check. Usually when you tell them you already know their location, they stop fighting.

Mike

I have spoken with Sharon several times. She has been relatively nice, if a little impatient. She keeps telling me that they will not accept payment from T & C and I must pay the full balance by Feb 1st or they would seek further legal action. She has not clarified exactly what that means. I want to pay them- I just cannot pay the full amount all at once. I just need some advice as to whether or not T&C should go ahead and try sending them a payment or not. What happens if they reject the payment?

From what I have been told, them seeking legal action is just a scare tactic. To proctect themselves, they do not want their call center location disclosed, nor do they want their "real" corporate office location disclosed.

When speaking with them, tell them you'd like to record the call of your offer. Mention that if such (reasonable) offer is refused, that you will consider you account cleared, and closed.

You mentioned the name Sharon...is she with E-Care?

Mike

She has just identified herself as Sharon with CTC. I guess it was foolish of me to think I could go with T & C and get this stuff cleared up. I have talked to them about this, but they say that since I am in Texas, they prob can't do anything and I need to talk to CTC. I am so confused and upset. I know I am in the wrong- I borrowed the money, I didn't pay it back. But I am trying to make good on my debt, they just don't seem to be working with me.

So far T & C has only heard back from 2 of my lenders that say they will work with the program. I hvae 6 others- what do I do about them?

Sorry to be negative- I just don't know what I am supposed to do next.

Crystal, you can send some advance along with your proposal to the company. If they cash the check, it will simply mean that they are accepting payments from you. There won't be any further reason to give a legal effect to it.

I can understand that some companies make the negotiations quite tough. They have realized in the past that you were unable to keep up with the payments, that's why they want to have it from you in one single shot. Try to be strong on your negotiations and tell them that taking the matter to the court will not help them in recovering the full money from you. Some companies just threaten with legal actions to make you pay but they know that their are court costs and other expenses to bear along with it. So, they might with withhold the actions for some time.

If Sonic is the same as Cash Transfers, have you received a letter from them stating that you defaulted on the loan? Sonic's address is a po box in Pennsylvania. That is the address I send all my correspondence with them to. They love to play games and they WILL accept payment through T & C. I'm with them as well and we had to play games before they finally accepted payment. I doubt they will refuse payment. PM me if you have any further questions.

Mikey,

It's hard to tell because Sonic has so many names these days. It seems to me that they need to change names or acquire new ones to avoid the law. Maybe they are tired of all the complaints against them as Sonic? I had to update my complaint against them with my consumer protection office. Here come the phone calls at work again. I'm going to check with T & C to see if they cashed the first check they sent them. This is so frustrating! I knew they couldn't be quiet for too long LOL!

I'm not sure how the operations of Sonic and the call center work. Sonic is the name of the payday loan place, however the call center is called something completely different. They answer calls for all those "clients", but if that thread...it was Mr. Ash who opened the business. They could just be avoiding the situation all together when it comes to consolidation. It all depends on who your counselor gets when they call, I suppose.

I too have currently defaulted on a loan to these people, I have the address but they keep calling from British Columbia but as you all have found out, the address is in Oakes PA. The Bank they supposedly go through is in Malta. I have contacted the Attorney Generals office to investigate where they are really from and who runs it. I offered to pay it in full by money order or cashiers check but they say that they don't do business that way. Why would a creditor refuse payment in full? Just as a heads up, the BC number they are calling from is: 604-587-6200' Just send them the money order and if they refuse, you at least have proof to the courts that you attempted to settle. Make sure you send it cerified mail, that way someone has to sign for it and you'll have a name. The money orders can be traced online. Don't give up hope'

It is known to all of us that Cash Transfer Center is a scam. Why should we send money when we don't know the actual loan amount? They make unauthorized debits in the bank accounts without proper documentation. The FTC and the attorney generals have already huge complaints against them. At this point, it is necessary to pay the amount that has been actually borrowed. They want us to pay something that is disputed. We can't send them that much amount that does not have any basis. Every one has a different situation. You have to handle the case in your own way and stay away from this company.

I too am dealing with Cash Transfer Centers. They are a nasty bunch. I got a letter from a PO box in Oaks PA. I know I have overpaid, but getting them to send me a statement of my account has proving to be very difficult. They do not want to make payment arrangements either. FYI, they call from Ontario, Quebec and another number that just comes up British Columbia call. They try to be pretty sneaky. I als tried to reply to an email that the "Manager" sent, but it comes back with an error. If anyone has a fax number for them, please share it.

Thanks

All I know is that my company told me that unless it is court ordered, it is not considered legal and they would not honor it any other way. And in order for it to be a legal court order, the company has to be legal. I too got a call yesterday, first from a male demanding I tell him when I was gonna pay. I told him that I had over-paid on my loan according to my state's PDL laws and was demanding a refund and consider me "Paid in Full." He was livid with me and demanded to speak with my supervisor. I told him "one moment" and left him on hold so long he hung up. Then a female called and tried the same tactic and I laughed so hard at her she slammed the phone down. I also told her she was being recorded and to keep talking because I needed all the info I could get on her and CTC. I know they will call back again, but what they don't know is that all calls come through me......ha ha ha

Dduvall...Call your payroll dept RIGHT AWAY!!! Some companies honor them, some do not!! I am a payroll rep at a company that does honor them. These are voluntary, and you can revoke it at any time. tell your payroll person you're going to revoke it, and write a letter stating your name, the name of the creditor, and the amount of the debt..Then write that you revoke any and all wage assignments. If you need help, do a search on the forum on wage assignment revocation letters. You need to also send a copy to Sonic, but make sure your payroll dept gets it first!!
They will not garnish you. there is no way Sonic can get a judgement to garnish..they operate illegally. If you need any help with this please contact me, I can help you..

BTW...Wage assignments are NOT illegal, there is a protocol that must be followed when sending them, and frequently pdls don't follow it. An inexperienced payroll person could easily get confused, when I saw my first one I didn't know what the heck to do..Get that revocation letter out ASAP.

No they will not deal. They do not want to accept partial payments. They threaten to call your payroll department. They threaten to call your boss. Stay away if at all possible.

I had the same situation I was late paying them due to a car accident. They are so short and hung up. I know they faxed something to my employer. Do you know if they can make my employer back the $500 I am afraid I might be fired and I would rather do it myself.

I checked with the state banking department in my state and ctc and most others are not licensed to do business in your state. the way they get around a "state" license is they are in a different country and their contract is specific to that country.

Therefore I am not going to pay them back, basically the contract is null and void and I would love to see them take me to court, let one of them towl head, smelly people come to court, I will have them arrested for fraud. In fact I contacted the FBI and most of the internet payday lenders are under investigation, ooooopppppp now they know it. Well, thanks for the free money and screwing me over, but in the end you will all get it!!11
